The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is revising its Access to Information Policy and Directive. The proposed Policy and accompanying Directive fall considerably short of international best practice and do not align with international law. The draft Policy and Directive are not people-centered and are instead excessively client-oriented.
